How many patients does it take to build a robust stratification cohort?

​ No generic approach for sample size estimation can be made in personalised medicine when designing a stratification cohort. The conclusion is drawn from the first stakeholder consultation by the PERMIT project which looked to identify approaches to estimate the number of patients needed to be included in a cohort for different types of stratification studies using machine learning. ​

ECRIN contributes to position paper on the archiving of clinical trial records

The archiving of clinical trial records is a required process linked to legal and regulatory obligations. ECRIN joined EUCROF (the European Contract Research Organisation Federation) and eClinical Forum dedicated taskforce to develop a position paper that addresses the needs and practical directions for the archiving of clinical research in the present day.

ECRAID base kick-off

The ECRAID-Base (European Clinical Research Alliance for Infectious Diseases) initial kick-off took place on 2 March 2021 as a virtual meeting.  The ECRAID-Base project follows the successful ECRAID-Plan project which defined the business model of the ECRAID network.
