EU-AMRI PORTO DECLARATION on CANCER RESEARCH
EU-AMRI calls for further deployment of high quality infrastructures
On 3 May 2021, following the Cancer Research Summit 2021, hosted by the Portuguese Presidency of the European Council, the Porto Declaration on Cancer Research was published as an open call for collective action towards a comprehensive translational cancer research approach focused on personalised and precision medicine and covering the entire cancer research continuum, from prevention to care. EU-AMRI has endorsed the Declaration while calling for a new level of mobilisation at European level.

About EU-AMRI
EU-AMRI, the European Alliance of Medical Research Infrastructures, is the collaboration between the European research infrastructures BBMRI for Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources, EATRIS for Translational Research, and ECRIN for multinational Clinical Trials. The three research infrastructures provide services to researchers in the field of biomedical sciences, and are complementary and support the development of personalised medicine and new treatments.
