SlovaCRIN organises national ICTD 2024 conference

On 4 June 2024, the conference "International Clinical Trials Day 2024" was held at the Faculty of Medicine of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic. The conference featured discussions on the progress of several clinical trials in Slovakia and explored ways to provide Slovak patients with greater access to innovative treatments being researched. The speakers included representatives from the Slovak Ministry of Education, the Research and Innovation Authority, the State Institute for Drug Control, the Ethics Committee for Clinical Trials, commercial and non-commercial sponsors, and various medical institutions. The invitation to the meeting was also accepted by Lenka Součková, the European correspondent for the Czech Republic, who provided information about ECRIN, CZECRIN and the current visions and implementations within the EU.
