EYNTK sessions a success!

After the success of the first edition, ECRIN decided to open a second edition of our Everything You Need to Know (EYNTK) about submitting an EU multinational clinical study proposal training. The revised course structure included five weekly webinars where key experts from the field shared their experiences and key takeaways with the attendees. The interest was immense, with over 500 registrants per event, and with over 250 attendees on average. The onsite sessions for this training took place in some of ECRIN’s national partner institutions in February, 2026.

F-CRIN hosted the first of the EYNTK onsite trainings. What a pleasure to welcome the attendees to ECRIN's Paris Headquarters!

The morning was spent learning from experts in European calls about their experiences and the support available.

In the afternoon, the learners took the knowledge they had accumulated from the webinars in the fall and the morning events to make key decisions in developing proposals.

They worked together to identify appropriate calls, build consortia, decide on the governance structure and responsibilities of their projects and then outlined the necessary work packages and possible risks.

ECRIN was in Madrid for the onsite EYNTK session, hosted by SCReN. This interactive meeting built upon the learnings that were provided throughout the webinar series in the Autumn, sharing feedback from use cases coordinated from Spain.

The session continued to engage the learners by having them work together to select calls, and build key elements of the proposal.

Our Italian partner ItaCRIN hosted the last of EYNTK onsite trainings which took place at the at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Rome.

After attending all of the webinars, the learners were brought to consider what the implications of these trainings are on the development of a proposal linked to one of the Horizon Europe calls.

In the morning, some additional information, including the sharing of success stories, helped underline key points of a proposal.

Then, in the afternoon, the learners were brought to build their own proposals in groups - which helped them to understand the reality of putting all the pieces together.

Thank you to all those who attended for your consideration and hard work throughout the events. The sessions were hugely successful and participants were very engaged throughout, with 100% of attendees agreeing that their knowledge on the topic grew.

We look forward to building successful proposals with you in the near future!
