Two chapters published in Principles and Practice of Clinical Trials

This month ECRIN data project manager, Steve Canham, published two chapters in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Trials edited by Piantodosi and Meinert and published by Springer. The chapters are “Design and Development of the Study Data System”, which describes the components of modern data systems and provides recommendations on how to create a study-specific system, and “Long-Term Management of Data and Secondary Use”, which discusses the reasons for, preparation and methods of managing data after study completion, to meet legal obligations or for secondary use by others.
