PERMIT Implementation workshop

On 17 March, the PERMIT project held its Implementation Workshop. This workshop aimed to gather key stakeholders of the personalised medicine research pipeline, to discuss how to best disseminate and implement the PERMIT recommendations.

Representatives from regulatory bodies (both national and regional), research institutes and research infrastructures, consulting firms, health technology assessment agencies, patient associations, ethics committees, scientific journals, as well as representatives from the ICPerMed and the European Commission joined the workshop. They provided insight on how the PERMIT recommendations could be disseminated and implemented in each of their communities; highlighting the media that should be targeted to ensure a broad dissemination. The attendees also shared ideas on potential training opportunities to facilitate the uptake and implementation of the recommendations.
