Empowering Research and Collaboration on World Cancer Day!
As the world gears up to observe World Cancer Day on February 4, 2024, it is an opportune time to reflect on the strides made in the field of oncology and celebrate collaborative initiatives that are paving the way for breakthroughs in cancer research and treatment.
At the forefront of this effort is the canSERV project, an EU-funded project under the Horizon Europe programme, providing cutting-edge, interdisciplinary, and customized oncology services.
World Cancer Day Celebration
As we approach World Cancer Day, we wish to celebrate the collective efforts of organizations and initiatives that are committed to making a difference in the lives of patients. This day promotes health equity, improve accessibility to cancer services, reduce disparities in cancer incidence and mortality, to finally close the care gap. We want to make the most of this special day to raise awareness, encourage prevention, and inspire action.
The canSERV Project
canSERV, standing for "Cancer Research Services," aims to offer a comprehensive portfolio of oncology-related research services to scientists in EU member countries, associated countries, and beyond. The project, supported by ECRIN and 18 other partners, focuses on the entire cancer continuum, providing support from early detection to survivorship. By uniting experts across disciplines, canSERV seeks to accelerate discoveries, improve patient outcomes, and contribute to the global fight against cancer. For more information on this project, visit the canSERV website: https://www.canserv.eu/
We look forward to continuing to support projects that help advance research and provide innovative solutions to benefit cancer patients worldwide.
