ECRIN Evaluation Report Now Published
Five years after its establishment, ECRIN-ERIC underwent in 2019 an external and independent scientific evaluation carried-out by ERIEC, an international consortium of research evaluation agencies. The Evaluation Report is freely accessible on the ERIEC website. It is divided into three areas: Positioning and strategy, Governance and management, and ERIC activities. The report includes general conclusions and recommendations that will impact the next ECRIN strategy plan and annual work plans. Some recommendations, as well as the comments provided by ECRIN, have a broader significance and may affect the research infrastructure community as a whole, as well as national and European science policymakers. ECRIN is the first ERIC having undergone such an external and independent scientific evaluation.
