Davide Magagna is an experienced scientist and policy adviser with a diverse background in research, policy support, and project coordination. He serves as a Project Leader and Scientific Project Officer at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), where his current work is centered on Transformative Innovation Policies. He coordinates the EU Preparatory Action, Innovation for Place-Based Transformation, with a focus on the territorial dimension of challenges and competitiveness in sustainable energy transitions.
