SHARE CTD
Sharing and Re-using clinical trial data to maximise impactFunding programme: Horizon-MSCA (2022-DN 101120360)
Coordinator: Ludwig-Maximillians Universitaet Muenchen
Budget: 2.7M€ (ECRIN is an associated partner)
Duration: 4 years (Jan 2024 - Dec 2027)
SHARE-CTD is a doctoral network funded by the European Union involving 9 PIs and 12 academic and non-academic partners.
SHARE-CTD’s research projects look at best practices as well as measuring the impact of preparing data for sharing and using shared data. It is a project on Open Science. It will provide specific role models for active participation in implementing Open Science in medical research.
SHARE-CTD aims to train a new generation of biomedical researchers with a deep understanding of the processes, values, and merits of clinical trial data sharing. To gain a comprehensive understanding, biomedical researchers need to be trained in fields like data science, trial regulations, meta-research, as well as ethical, legal and social issues.
ECRIN's role in SHARE-CTD
ECRIN is contributing to training activities and will host 3 PhD Candidates for varying durations to support their research and provide insights into the various aspects of its work.
