Luca Vitale

Luca is a Project Manager with a background in artificial intelligence, software engineering, and European research and innovation projects. As part of ECRIN, he contributes to the management of international initiatives, supporting project governance, technical planning, and collaboration across multidisciplinary and multinational partners.

With extensive experience in AI-driven software development and Horizon Europe projects, Luca has led Work Packages and technical tasks within large European consortia. His expertise spans smart mobility, energy systems, and digital innovation, combining technical expertise with project management to bridge research and real-world implementation.

Holding a PhD in Statistical Methods and a master's degree in computer science, Luca specialises in optimisation, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making. He is passionate about applying advanced computational methods to complex challenges and is currently expanding his expertise in Generative AI and its applications to collaborative research, digital innovation, and healthcare.
