The European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (ECRIN,, a public research organisation, is currently recruiting a Data Entry Clerk, to be based at its Paris office or home working.


About ECRIN:

ECRIN is a non-profit, distributed infrastructure. It was awarded the legal status of a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC) in 2013 based on Council Regulation (EC) N° 723/2009 of 25th June 2009 on the Community legal framework for an ERIC. ECRIN provides support to the management of multinational clinical research projects in Europe (
ECRIN’s portfolio of projects is managed via an electronic project management system.


Roles and Responsibilities:

The Data Entry Clerk will be in charge of:

- collecting, preparing and sorting information for data entry

- entering this data into the portfolio management data base

- performing quality checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of the entered data

- solving any discrepancies, obtaining further information if needed

- creating data backups if applicable


The Data Entry Clerk works within the ECRIN core team based in Paris, in the Clinical Operations Unit. The post is under the hierarchical responsibility of the Head of Clinical Operations with a strong link with the Quality and IS Unit.



  • Experience with data entry tasks in a quality management system environment
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Excellent written and spoken English (working language)
  • Ability to work to time constraints
  • Experience in a clinical research environment



  • Experience in a clinical research environment
  • Science and/or medical speciality background
  • Trained to degree level


The post is available as a fixed-term (2 months) part-time contract according to French law. The salary is set according to European/international standards for similar positions, and will depend on qualifications and experience.


Place of employment: Paris, France, where ECRIN has its Management Office and legal address.
