CORBEL Workshop on Access to Individual Patient Data

Date(s)
29 February 2016

As part of the CORBEL project, ECRIN is hosting the first workshop of the patient-level data taskforce in Paris from March 3rd to 4th. The taskforce, which includes experts from various fields, will aim to reach a consensus on a common framework for providing access to patient-level clinical trial data. The creation of a database of anonymised, user-friendly patient data will be considered as a possible development.

Funded by Horizon 2020, CORBEL aims to establish shared services between the 12 European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures Biological and Medical Sciences Research Infrastructures (ESFRI BMS RIs), one of which is ECRIN. The services are intended to benefit the European biomedical research community as a whole.

ECRIN is in charge of the third work package, involving the development of common tools to be used by biomedical research institutions to develop innovative prevention, diagnostic, and treatment solutions.
